. My name is Cassandra and I will be your host. I enjoy crafts..mostly scrapbooking and photography. While those two are my favorites [and they are really more like one in the same] I tend to get into many other things.
My DD LOVES jewelry and rather than spend a fortune on an 8 year old, I find MAKING it is so much cheaper 
. Not only that, she enjoys making it with me...picking her beads and such. She NEVER misses the freebie idea sheets in our local craft stores.
My DS is a pretty creative kid too...he loves to draw. He also likes to play with the neat tools in the hobby room. I have to limit his use of the neat toys in mom's hobby room!! 
What Have I Gotten Myself Into?
Well, as I stated...I tend to be into many things. I started a new job, after having been out of the working world for about 5 years, it's been a big adjustment. Not only that, we had JUST bought a house when I interviewed and subsequently offered the job. It's for the school district so I am in school again...I'll never make it out of middle school...but, now I have the hours my kids do and it's pretty good. Leaves me time for crafting and I don't take my work home with me (too much!).
Outside of work, I'm also the yearbook adviser for the middle school and PTO volunteer at my kids' elementary school...who happens to be in charge of the yearbook there too. I'm also involved in Girl Scouts with my DD (sometimes assistant leading) and I am the photo crazed mom at soccer for DD and baseball for DS. When I'm not being all of that, I'm a mom, taxi driver and wife...going on 13 years now!!!
Can you say...."I stay busy!!??"
